🌱 Wellbeing: Special message: I am disconnected and enjoying nature, this is a scheduled message
Using scheduling messaging tools, means time in nature is my priority
Welcome new readers and subscribers!
It is curious and somewhat amazing to me, that whilst I am enjoying the countryside in La Rioja with friends over a long weekend, you are reading this.
That what I am writing now on a Friday, will be read on a Sunday or after.
Scheduling content into the future is a huge benefit for Writers, Content Creators and in a world where you want to prepare communications or push messaging, after you prepare it.
However, scheduling social media posts or articles is often argued as good for “maintaining a more frequent presence on social media” or “batching all your preparation together for ease and organisation”.

Sure, I have prepared lots of content together for posting later, say on a Monday for the whole week on Linkedin. The main platform I use for my B2C work.
BUT there are some other benefits in relation to how we prioritise and balance life over work, which is what I try to do, the majority of the time.
I choose this below for this weekend, for me, for my family, see the picture below for my main reason.
La Rioja is so stunning in the Autumn, the colours are heart lifting.
For my health and for my wellbeing, I was craving lots of nature.
Oh and a total disconnect from writing and work.
Choosing nature and really intentionally picking time in nature, uninterrupted.
Meant considering what could be seen as some as various competing priorities.
So, I wanted to keep pushing my Nomad November series, especially as I am getting close to my target of 30 pieces of writing in November, which will build out the overall Digital Nomad Stories to almost 100 articles.
But trying to go away for 3 days in the middle of that push. Was that possible?
Sure: plan, write, push schedule and leave behind any doubts.
PLUS leave behind all devices.
Yup, no devices needed if there was nothing to check, write, edit, review or publish.
Yes, I did rely on my partner having a device to take family photos and maybe get any urgent calls, however I did not need any.
So you have read this far, like I hoped, I meanwhile am elsewhere, like I planned.
Technology is fantastic, isn’t it!
Thanks for reading article number 19, of Nomad November.
I also want to hear your feedback - so let me know!
