The original concept for the Digital Nomad Stories project was inspired by Juliana Rabbi, over a coffee in Tirana, Albania in 2022. Ro and Juliana are pictured below hanging out in a Tirana cafe, discussing how to amplify the stories of Women who Nomad and make their lifestyles sustainable.
She is a recruiter-turned-career coach, with over 15 years of experience in Human Resources in multinational companies and, since 2014, working remotely. Juliana helps professionals make better career choices and create the lifestyle they want. Her background is in Psychology, with a Master's Degree in Human Resources. In 2020, she sold her home, wine business, and most of her possessions to embark on a life of travel. Now, you can find her hanging around Europe with her husband and laptop, writing about living a slow, simple, sustainable life. Kaisu Koskela, is a nomad for more than 20 years from Northern Finland near the Arctic Circle, who always finds a way to extend her stay abroad. For instance, at 18, she got a job at a bar and learned to be a bartender in Greece.
