Spanish Coastal Road Trip
I am writing this whilst back at base in Aragon this week, however my bags are packed again and I leave for a coastal trip in Spain, covering a 250km road trip visiting:
Girona
Palamos
Tarragona
La Pineda
I won’t be working (only writing and creating) during this trip, it is mostly for leisure as an old childhood friend from Ireland is joining me for some exploring and beach time.

After my recent sabbatical break I am endeavouring to keen a healthy life-work-balance and part of that is even more calendar blocking than usual to minimise synchronous work demands.
I am already finding that challenging at times with new clients requesting meetings, but with two new contracts I have carefully pushed back and favourably priced “asynchronous work” support, via access to their Slack channels and documentation structures.
I know it is not perfect (yet!), but I have to keep advocating for my health and balance everyday.
Why? Hey! Nobody else will keep that balance the way you can and say No when it is needed.
