One of the questions I get asked the most often: Is how do I find a remote job? Some people are trying to break into the remote work sector for the first time or others are trying to get new/better remote job.
When I surveyed the 9k+ subscribers on here recently, the majority of people were remote job seekers (over 73% were looking for remote jobs, survey here).

Before I share how I start to mentor mentees or answer the people who ask me about the remote job search challenge, let me set the scene for you.

I am using the picture below intentionally, there is hope and light on the horizon but finding *true* remote work is for the majority of people is an uphill battle, and if we liken it to an endurance race it is definitely more akin to the Barkley Marathons than a straight-forward 100K ultra marathon.
That may sound harsh, but hey, the article is called harsh truths, so donโt say you werenโt warned!!
So letโs keep with the truth-telling, and I hope you are ready to hear it and learn why one of the most important traits for an effective remote job search is not only resilience but what I call:
extra-level relentless resilience.
